On the morning of November 3, to welcome French President Francois Hollande to China and prepare for the 21st Climate Change Conference in Paris, the "China-France Climate and Green Economy Forum" was held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and French President Francois Hollande were present and delivered speeches. At the invitation of the France-China Committee and the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), attended the forum.

Premier Li spoke highly of the forum's significant role in promoting the two sides' cooperation in coping with climate change. China's future economic boom will rely on the rapid development of the green economy, and there is huge potential for China-France cooperation in energy conservation and environmental protection, he noted, calling on the two countries to jointly develop third-party markets to promote the application of new products and concepts in developing countries.

At the forum, Song discussed "industry and climate" with chairmen of world renowned companies such as Schneider Electric, Electricite de France and ENGIE. He explained the profound in simple terms, arousing bursts of applause.

Following the forum, Song and Jean-Pascal Tricoire, chairman of the France-China Committee and chairman of Schneider Electric accompanied President Hollande for the China-France High & New Technology Exhibition, posing with him for a group photo.
